Puerto Banús – the glamorous heart of the Costa del Sol. Love it or hate it, there’s no ignoring it. This iconic marina town is known for its luxury lifestyle, famous designer stores, and high-octane energy.

At the centre is the marina itself, lined with impressive yachts and overlooked by a parade of major fashion brands. Add to that the constant stream of supercars and it’s easy to see why Banús is such a spectacle.

Originally conceived as a small marina surrounded by shops and restaurants, Puerto Banús has grown into a destination in its own right. Today, it’s home to the flagship El Corte Inglés department store and a broad mix of independent boutiques and international names — retail therapy taken seriously.

The nightlife is legendary. Evenings often start in one of the many quality restaurants, followed by pre-club bars and on to clubs that stay lively well into the early hours, particularly during the summer months.

By day, the focus shifts to the beach. Alongside the classic chiringuitos and beachfront cafés, Banús is home to several upscale beach clubs that combine sun, sound, and scene — with live music, food, and cocktails in full flow.

Property prices in and around Puerto Banús reflect its popularity, with premium values in the marina and frontline areas. That said, smaller one-bedroom homes and pied-à-terre apartments can still offer good entry points, starting from around €160,000.
