Guadalmina is a well-established residential area located just west of San Pedro de Alcántara, about 10 minutes from both Puerto Banús and Estepona. Known for its beachside charm and golf course views, it remains a popular choice for both full-time residents and holiday homeowners.

The area is divided by the main coastal road into two parts: Guadalmina Baja (beachside) and Guadalmina Alta (golfside). Both sides are linked by the 36-hole Real Club de Golf Guadalmina — one of the longest-standing courses on the coast.
