The AP-7 motorway is readily accessible, and Carvajal railway station provides train services into Fuengirola, Málaga and the airport. Schools, medical services, shops and other everyday amenities are also available nearby.
All of this has helped El Higuerón become a genuine residential option rather than simply somewhere associated with a restaurant or hotel. It can work equally well for a permanent home or a holiday base, particularly for buyers who want convenient access to the coast without necessarily living directly beside it.
