How a ground-floor apartment in The Edge, Estepona, can combine a large terrace, views towards the sea, community facilities and a genuine beachfront location to fulfil a buyer’s wish list.

Space and views to the sea

As soon as we saw this apartment in The Edge, Estepona, we could imagine the buyer who would walk onto the terrace and feel that the property they had been hoping to find was finally in front of them.

A ground-floor apartment will not necessarily suit everybody, but in the right setting it can offer something that apartments on the upper floors cannot. In this case, the large terrace opens directly onto the landscaped gardens, with the view continuing through the community towards the sea.

Spacious terrace at The Edge apartment

This gives the substantial terrace a real feeling of space. It is not simply an outside area attached to the apartment. It becomes a natural extension of the living room, with space to sit, dine and relax while looking out across the gardens.

For a buyer whose wish list includes a spacious apartment, a large terrace and an open outlook towards the sea, it is easy to imagine the feeling when they see those wishes coming together. This apartment has a good-sized open-plan living room with a high-quality open-concept kitchen with Gaggenau appliances, together with two bedrooms and two luxury bathrooms. Air conditioning and underfloor heating provide year-round comfort.

The community itself adds another important element to the picture. The Edge has landscaped gardens and swimming pools, together with a heated indoor swimming pool, a gym and a fitness area. The apartment is fully furnished and also includes two underground garage parking spaces and a storage room. Of course, for a beachfront buyer, the location is likely to matter as much as, if not more than, the apartment itself.

Our experience is that buyers who want beachfront property are hardly ever prepared to compromise. Being close to the beach is not necessarily the same as living on the beachfront. They want to be able to sit on their terrace, look towards the sea and know it will only take them two or three minutes to walk onto the beach.

Here, for example, the beach and the amenities of the beachfront area are on the doorstep, while Estepona Marina and the town centre, with their restaurants and facilities, are only a short drive away.

Every buyer has a different wish list. For the buyer looking for a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment with space, a large terrace, community facilities and a genuine beachfront setting, this ground-floor apartment in The Edge could be the one that makes the wish list complete.
