We rewrite and reorganise our website on a regular basis. Property markets change, technology changes, and the way people search for property and look for information changes too. This latest rewrite is slightly different.
After 50 years in the business, one thing we have learned is that estate agency never really stands still. The way buyers search for property has changed enormously, but so has the way they research, ask questions and decide who they would like to deal with.
We have always tried to adapt the way we work to those changes, while holding on to the things that still matter: experience, straightforward advice, personal communication and being available when somebody needs help.
Property searching is only a part of it
First and foremost, we are estate agents, and helping people find the right property remains a major part of what we do.
You can search for property on our website in the usual way, but if you tell us what you are looking for, we can also help with the search. We can even create your own personalised property link, which will continually update with properties that may be suitable for you.
But finding properties is only one part of buying a home
Over the years we have answered thousands of questions from buyers and sellers. Some are straightforward, some are surprisingly complicated, and quite often somebody simply wants to talk something through with a person who has dealt with the situation before.
Now questions and answers have become a much more important part of our website, and they are there to give anyone who needs it the benefit of all we have learned over the years.
We have reorganised our Questions & Answers section to make it easier to find information about buying and selling property in Marbella and across the Costa del Sol.
And if you can't find the answer to your particular question, please don't hesitate to ask us, as we are always ready to rise to the challenge of answering more questions.
Tell us what you need from us
We realise that just as everybody is looking for a different type of home, they also want something slightly different from their estate agent.
- Some prefer to do most of their own research and simply want to call us occasionally when there is something they are not sure about. That's absolutely fine. Give us a call and we'll try to help.
- Others want us to become much more involved. Tell us what you are looking for, where you would like to live, your budget and what really matters to you, and we can help you with the search.
- If you would like the full home-finding service, that's fine too.
There isn't one particular route that we want to push you down. Tell us what you're looking for and we'll help you find it. Tell us how you'd like us to help and we'll endeavour to work that way too. We are prepared and able to adapt in order to give as much or as little help as you want.
We don't believe in the hard sell
We are very aware that the last thing most people want from an estate agent is a hard sell. In reality, the right property will largely sell itself. When you walk into a property that feels right for you, very often you know it. Our job isn't to take you to the wrong place and then try to convince you to buy it. It is to listen properly in the first place, to help narrow down the search, answer your questions and give you the information you need to make your own decision.
Sometimes that decision will be to buy the property. Sometimes it will be to keep looking. Either is fine. It is your decision to make.
The website will keep changing
This latest reorganisation isn't intended to be the final version of our website. There probably never will be one. What works well, we tend to leave. What needs changing, we will always modify. Technology will continue to change. The property market will change, and the way people search for homes, find information and communicate with estate agents will also continue to change, and we will continue to adapt accordingly.
