“Must have a sea view” is one of the most repeated phrases that we see on the many property enquiry forms that we receive.   It is understandable especially for people who generally live inland that when they buy their holiday home on the Costa del Sol that they want to be able to see the Mediterranean sea that makes the area so special.  Although everywhere on the Costa del Sol is close to the sea it is not that easy to find a property which has a panoramic sea view.   This is quite simply because much of the area close to the beach is pretty flat and apart from the very limited number of front line beach plots, even if you are with 100 metres of so of the beach you cannot actually see the sea.

One of the locations that achieves that in spades is Altos de Los Monteros which is the upper area of Los Monteros, one of Marbella’s most prestigious suburbs.  Located just on the outer edge of the Town, Los Monteros is home to the famous Los Monteros Hotel and La Cabane beach club both of which are famous for providing high quality hospitality on one of Marbella’s best stretches of beach.   From here a 5 minute drive upwards brings you to the Altos de Los Monteros area where there is a choice of villas and apartments, the vast majority of which will give you that all important view.
