This house is situated in a wonderful landscape with majestic views over the Genal river and Monte Crestellina. It faces south, but has beautiful views all directions.There are hardly any other buildings to be seen from the house, just mountains, rock formations, woods and fields - and in the distance the tip of the rock of Gibraltar.
It measures 890 m2 without terraces, plus 120 m2 of partly covered terraces, on a plot 38.000 m2.
There are 8 bedrooms with 7 bathrooms (including caretakers) and 2 extra WC. Also 4 lounges (amongst them TV room, libraries, guest and caretakers), a marvellous kitchen (Siematic) with pantry, 3 big fridges and freezer, apart from 2 smaller kitchens for guests and caretakers. Also gym, wine cellar, a big storing room, machine room, laundry. You will find loads of wardrobes all over the house and a big dressing room attached to the main bedroom.
The house was build in one block, a bit like the classical houses in the Toscana and it has an excellent distribution, with high ceilings, big window-doors, old marble floors for the main floor and wood for the first floor, everything very easy to take care of.
From the main windows you see an immense centenary carob tree - even trough the house has been recently built (2003), and it is surrounded by lush woods. Many more trees have been added around the house and beyond the garden - fig trees oranges, lemons, limes, mandarins, grapefruit, peach, plum and nectarines. There also are forty avocado trees, bearing fruit the year round. The dirt track leading to the house is lined with cypress trees, giving the landscape a feeling of Italy. There is also an ample vegetable garden with all kinds of organic vegetables and a chicken yard with happy hens, a rooster and free range eggs every day of the year.
There is an automatic an digital sprinkling system for the garden and the plantations.
The swimming pool measures 12x6 m. The filter has been placed in the machine room to avoid unpleasant noise in the garden.
The whole house has under floor heating with separate thermostats in all rooms for individual regulation. It works with diesel which is stored in an outdoor, underground tank of 3000 litres. An installation for solar heat panels is ready to be connected. Some rooms with air conditioning.

The well produces between 70,000 and 90,000 litres a day and the water deposit above the house stores 100.000. There is a water filter for the main water and a special filter for drinking water.
This house was built for private use and not as a promotion, so every detail has been lovingly considered.
It takes a little more than an hour to reach the Malaga airport, 50 minutes to Marbella, 35 to Sotogrande and 25 to the beach of Manilva an 10 minutes to the village of Gaucin. The road down to the coast is rather bumpy but works will be started soon to fix it.
