Traditionally the market for property in the centre of Marbella has not really been an International market as the majority of buyers have tended to be Spanish and although many of the apartment in the Town Centre are holiday homes they tend to be Madridians who come down to Marbella to get away from the sweltering heat of Madrid during the summer months.

 Whilst there have always been exceptions to the rule until recently they were relatively few and far between.  In recent we have seen buyer requirements changing and now more enquiries are coming from International buyers who recognize that being in the centre of Town has district advantages.  The concept of coming down in the lift to find all the restaurants and shops on your doorstep is fantastic.  Dinners in town are just 2 minutes walk away and that second (or third!) glass of wine has no repercussions like taxis and the car having to stay in an expensive car park overnight.   The beach is on the doorstep so if the family want to go down to the beach early in the morning and you prefer a leisurely coffee with newspaper, all can be accommodated.
