The old town
of Estepona has maintained all the character of the original Spanish pueblo
with narrow streets designed for horses rather than cars and a wide selection
of bars and bodegas offering traditional Spanish Fayre.
The paseo
maritimo has undergone a total overhaul in recent years and now gives the town
a smart and clean interface with the beaches and the Mediterranean. There are numerous quality beach bars and
restaurants.
On the west
side of the town lies the marina.Although a smaller scale and less glamorous than Puerto Banus it has a
great atmosphere and is surrounded by restaurants and bars.At night the pace quickens with numerous
clubs giving a lively party atmosphere.
Estepona is a
favourite with many loyal visitors and if you have never been it is well worth
a visit.
