distinct areas, The beach front zone, Arroya de la Miel, and up on the hillside
the old town of Benalmadena Pueblo.
Situated only
8 kms for the International airport at Malaga, Benalmadena is a holiday haven
that has retained its popularity over the years and it is no wonder why.From the beaches and Marina you have the
choice of virtually every possible water sport and leisure activity.The Sea Life Centre, located at the marina
is one of the major tourist attractions with its underwater tunnel, touch pools
and Lost City of Atlantis.
In Arroyo de
la Miel you will find the famous Tivoli World amusement park which has a
funfair and also hosts live shows and entertainment into the night.There is also the cable ride from here to
the top of Monte Calamarro from where you have breathtaking views of the
coastline and surrounding countryside.
Benalmadena
Pueblo is situated 300 meters above sea level and retains much of its original
charm and character.The narrow streets
and white washed houses are typical of the traditional Andalucian Villages.
Benalmadena
offers you all the choices, lazing on the beach, tour the archaeological sites
(the Romans were the original tourists), do some shopping or take tapas in one
of the myriad of bars.Later you can
have a quiet dinner or party the night away down at the marina or in the famous
24 hour square.
For those
wishing to travel afield Marbella and Puerto Banus are both within about 40
minutes drive.

smaller studios to large independent villas, many of which have stunning views
of the sea.
